Looks like the RX 460 is cheap ($100+), compatible and supported without Kext mods, but only about 1/2 the performance of the RX 480. I don't really want to screw around with that all the time. Looks like the best performance/dollar (about $200) is the RX 480, but they require Kext mods with each MacOS update. ![]() That would be hassle I would prefer to avoid, so I'm inclined to stay with the AMD chips. ![]() I get the impression that the later NVIDIA chips aren't supported by Apple any more and require a new driver to be found and loaded whenever Apple updates the MacOS. ![]() I'm reading them and scouring the net for more info. ![]()
